Our Finance team is responsible for accurate revenue accounting and settlements with business partners. Every month, we reconcile data from multiple systems, verify orders, confirm amounts, and investigate discrepancies.

We’re looking for a Reconciliation Accountant to take ownership of most of our reconciliation processes. This role goes beyond working with standard reconciliation statements: you’ll be comparing datasets of up to 120,000 orders per month, identifying discrepancies between internal reports and payment systems, and tracing the history of individual transactions.

Attention to detail, patience, and the ability to handle large volumes of repetitive work are essential. You should also be comfortable navigating sometimes challenging communication with business partners.

What you'll be doing:

  • conduct monthly reconciliations with business partners, verifying order details and agreeing on final amounts;
  • compare large datasets from internal systems with payment provider reports, identify discrepancies, and investigate their root causes;
  • investigate disputed orders, trace transaction histories, and make necessary data corrections;
  • collaborate with support teams, managers, analysts, and developers to identify and resolve errors;
  • prepare service completion certificates, reconciliation statements, and offset agreements, ensuring documents are accurate and properly signed;
  • record transactions in 1C 8.3, issue invoices, and provide information for payment processing;
  • participate in month-end closing activities;
  • maintain regular communication with business partners and resolve accounting-related disputes.

What we expect from you:

  • experience reconciling accounts with business partners, processing adjustments, and handling offsets;
  • ability to work with large datasets, compare reports, identify discrepancies, and investigate their root causes;
  • strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and other data validation tools;
  • experience with 1C 8.3 and primary accounting documents;
  • exceptional attention to detail and a habit of double-checking your work before passing it on;
  • ability to manage multiple tasks, switch between different contexts, and consistently meet deadlines;
  • willingness to understand how internal systems work and discuss technical issues with analysts and developers;
  • experience communicating with business partners and the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally;
  • interest in modern tools, including AI, and willingness to use them to streamline routine tasks; experience with automation is a plus;
  • basic English skills sufficient to read and understand simple written texts.

How we work:

  • work from anywhere in the world: no location restrictions, salary paid in USD, travel-loving culture;
  • no bureaucracy: efficient processes, horizontal and open communication, quick idea discussion and decision-making;
  • benefits compensation: private medical insurance, psychotherapy or language courses, sports activities, and sick leave.
